Towards the end of last week we started learning what it looks like to do math with someone. This means we work with a partner quietly at our assigned spot around the room. It also means we get to play math games! The students have done a great job so far. If you would like to play these games at home, you can download them from this post. They are called "Quick Flash". One partner holds up a card for 3 seconds and the other partner has to figure out the number in just those 3 seconds. If the partner guesses correctly, he/she gets to keep the card.
